About Kiri |
When you ask Kiri’s friends, you’re given an array of answers as far as her personality goes. She is defined as the epitome of kindness; though she may have her own small flaws. She tends to give more than she receives, and when she does give she will hardly ask for anything in return. She hates seeing friends her friends sad or upset and will stop at no cost to get them happy again. Kiri absolutely adores other dogs of her breed (Smooth Collies) and tends to make friends who also enjoy, or are, this breed. Kiri isn’t one to cross, despite her kindness, for she can be harsh. She doesn’t like being walked all over and will inform you if she feels like you are doing so. Overall, Kiri is as complex as her markings—but she’s the absolute best friend anyone could ask for.

A Deeper Look |
If you’ve never known military life, you can simply ask Kiri and she’ll tell you all about it. Her father was in the military and her family was very much so the military style family—whether they helped through their belief in freedom or in some other way. Kiri also believed in freedom, but not at the cost of her fathers life. She tended to stay with her sister, Kaci, and her mother, Cynda; while her father was often away. When he was home, Kiri was distant from him due to his want to be called by his name; Maximillion, instead of her preferred dad. She longed for a father daughter relationship, and was never rewarded with one—no matter how hard she tried to get one.
She often felt alone in the crazy, hectic world of the military due to her family having to bounce around a lot; making it hard for her to make and keep friends. She longed for companionship, and eventually put her paw down when her father was discharged from the military. At this time, discovering his daughters stubbornness, he decided to let them stay in one place; though he was used to and enjoyed the normal bouncing around. His daughter, though, loved being able to make and keep friends. Kiri, still longing for that father daughter relationship, finally got to know her father and enjoy his company. In her every day life now, Kiri is often doing something creative and unique with a father who supports her 100%. |
