After a long fight with a unknown health problem, where she kept deteriorating and was unable to walk, and kept losing weight and mobility more and more. I made the hard choice to let my baby Girl go. I was hard but it was the right thing. She just was not happy and was not the dog i knew. Barely able to walk, eat, or keep foot down she ate. Being carried everywhere and not even able to do what she loved, it was not good to keep her going.
I miss my girl everyday.
She taught me so much about dogs, and got me into what i love doing, dog sports, and if it wasn't for that feisty pup that needed a job or she would destroy my life, i wouldn't be who i am today. I had her since day one, literally, when i was about 14-15ish my parents told me i could have a dog of my own, either one from a litter of collies we were having or a breed of my choice. I had a corgi picked out, but that never happened and i feel in love with aurora. I did not socialize her right so we had a lot of issues, and it taught me so much. I did not just have the easy dog i wanted, i had to work.
She really showed me she was not a robot, but that she was a living thing, she had feelings. she got sick and she loved, just like a person. It has been a hard time without her, and i still expect to see her around the corner, or to be woken up to her face in mine, or a bone being dropped on my foot. She was just a special dog, she was my soul mate, we did everything together. She was my other half, she knew me better then i did. We did many things in her life. Agility, Rally, Obedience, tricks, hiking, herding and many many more things.
Because of her i will continue to have collies, and continue to train. Her inspirations lives on! Me and Gir will continue where aurora left off!
Rest in Peace Baby Girl, I hope you and holly are running free. I hope to see you again one day
My heart and soul, and my best friend.

About Aurora |
Aurora is a sweet, kind dog. Once she makes friends with you, you are friends for life—though she is shy at first. She does have a hard time making friends, but that doesn't mean she isn't the very best friend after you get to know her. She prefers to be alone or with just a single friend so she can soak up all the attention—while giving you love in return. She doesn't tend to enjoy the company of more than one, liking the limelight far too much, but she will take any attention she can get. She has a fear of men, due to a troubled past, so it is easier for her to make female friends.

A Deeper Look |
Aurora had a very hard, troubled past. And, by troubled past, we mean she was abused. She was, eventually, rescued from this situation and taken to a farm where she slowly learned the joys of a kind touch. She slowly began to fall in love with one of the original residents, Wired, who showed her incredible kindness. They had several children, but Aurora did eventually fall out of love with him and in love with another resident named Gir. She really feels as though she can finally be happy.
